ANNOUNCEMENTS

RHS Competition Squad participated in the NCA National Cheerleading Competition in Dallas, Texas. They competed in two divisions: Game Time, which consists of three performances, Fight Song, Time out Dance, and Time out Cheer. The second division was the Non-Tumbling Division. There were teams from all across the Country including: Alaska, Hawaii, Florida, Nebraska, Iowa, Idaho, Texas, and La, totaling up to 32 teams in the Game Time Division. RHS brought the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE back to Ruston after winning 1st Place in the Game Time Division!!!!! They were also awarded a trophy for placing 3rd in the Non-Tumbling Division. RHS Competition Squad consists of 32 girls with 7 being Freshman. Our very own Janese Penegar was fortunate to be a part of this NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP TEAM!!!!!!
